Although our school is closed, learning can, and should continue at home. Parents, please check this page often for updated lesson plans and links to helpful learning tools.

For the week of May 18-22, please follow the instructions below for educational activities you can do with your students at home.

Letter/Sound of the Week: Aa-Zz
Sight Words: all
Nursery Rhyme: Allow your child to choose their favorite nursery rhyme(s).

Shape: all
Number: Count from 1-10 in Spanish. (See video below.)
Math Skills: Practice addition and subtraction by using up to ten counters or household objects. Practice addition and subtraction without using objects.
Emergent Writing: What are you looking most forward to for the summer? Draw a picture and then write/dictate a sentence about it. Write a story about your most memorable at home learning experience.

Emergent Writing: What are you most excited about for Kindergarten? Draw a picture and then write/dictate a sentence about it. Write a story about your most memorable Pre-K experience.

Math Skills: Make patterns with items found in your environment; then change the pattern. 
Emergent Writing: Write and sign a pledge about learning something new. For additional practice, label pictures, form letters, develop written responses to pictures drawn, and write first and last names. 

Also, we have included a story, Counting in the Garden, this week. Take advantage of the beautiful weather today to count items you may find in a garden or your yard. As tempting as it may be, don't forget to continue practicing social distancing from those who don't live in your home. Have a happy week of learning and wash those hands!

iXL - You will receive information from your child's teacher with instructions for accessing our iXL platform. This will serve as the main remote learning tool for our elementary division. Please get in touch with us if you do not have a computer or internet access.
